Description
Calculation of surface area, volume and measurements of GALD were done each time for all the species, collecting about 28.000 data, using the equations provided by Sun & Liu (2003) and Hillebrand et al. (1999).

Sampling Description
Samples were collected during the 2002. Samples were gathered fortnightly from March until October, monthly in January, November and December, at the station of Ghiffa, corresponding to the deepest point of the lake.
