The Polychaetes Scratchpad site is dedicated to information (images, videos, publications, specimens, etc.) of marine bristle worms (Polychaeta). The site has started to be populated with content very recently and information is gradually being added. The classification used in this site does NOT reflect current taxonomic knowledge. It is currently being used for browsing content only, but will be cleaned up in the future. Developed by: The database is maintained by the Institute of Marine Biology, Biotechnology and Aquaculture of the Hellenic Centre for Marine Research (HCMR). It is supported by the Greek LifeWatch infrastructure. Scratchpads was developed by the Virtual Biodiversity Research and Access Network for Taxonomy (ViBRANT), a EU FP7 project. Technology or platform: The site is based on a virtual research environment called Scratchpads, which in turn is based on the content management software Drupal.

The Azorean Biodiversity Portal provides access to biodiversity occurrence data published for Azores by all scientific literature, non-published reports and citizen science. This portal implemented by the University of Azores, under the scope of PORBIOTA-LifeWatch.Pt, corresponds to the implementation of the Azores/Portuguese platform of the Atlas of Living Australia. The platform is currently supported by the community Living Atlases, a community of GBIF Nodes and other partners. The implementation of the platform seeks to answer to access needs for biodiversity data, with access and data analysis adjusted to Azores, and its geographic, administrative, biogeographic and ecological context. Moreover, it provides tools for data analysis with greater details and capacity for details.

The Biodiversity Data Portal of Portugal provided access to biodiversity occurrence data published by national institutions through the Global Biodiversity Information Facility (GBIF), and data published by foreign institutions for the Portuguese territory.
