This dataset provides a broad perspective and information on taxonomic and morphological (shape and size) structure of phytoplankton communities along a spatial gradient in Lesina lagoon.

This dataset provide a broad perspective and information on taxonomic and morphological (shape and size) structure of phytoplankton communities in Turkish lagoon ecosystem.

This dataset provide a broad perspective and information on taxonomic and morphological (shape and size) structure of phytoplankton communities in Brasilian lagoon ecosystems.

The dataset is part of a Master degree thesis titled “Evaluation of transitional coastal enviroment health status: Torre Guaceto”. The dataset includes taxonomic and morphological data of phytoplankton organisms collected in Torre Guaceto (Apulia, Italy), a marine protected area, located 15 km to the North of Brindisi. Torre Guaceto is a Site of Community Importance (SIC) and Special Protected Area.

Phytoplankton composition and size distribution in the Lago Maggiore (Italy) was analysed in detail measuring the main morphological parameters of the algal cells. This data set allowed to evaluate the morphological plasticity of many species across the seasonal succession.

This dataset provide a broad perspective and information on taxonomic and morphological (shape and size) structure of phytoplankton communities in maldivian lagoon ecosystems.

This dataset provide a broad perspective and information on taxonomic and morphological (shape and size) structure of phytoplankton communities in Scottish lagoon ecosystem.
-
The dataset is part of a Master degree study on the organization of phytoplankton communities in the port of Otranto (Apulia Region, Italy). Taxonomic and morphological phytoplankton data are collected.

This dataset provides broad information on taxonomic and morphological (shape, linear dimensions, biovolume, cell abundance, cell size) structure of phytoplankton communities, in an impacted marine coastal area. The study was conducted in order to understand the role of anthropogenic pollution on phytoplankton community. For this reason, 3 different areas, along a pollution gradient, were considering. Data were collected at different spatial and temporal scales, in marine ecosystems, located in South Adriatic Sea, close to an industrial area and a marine protected area, in Brindisi, along Salento Peninsula (Puglia region, Italy).

This dataset provide a broad perspective and information on taxonomic and morphological (shape and size) structure of phytoplankton communities in Greek lagoon ecosystems.
