This represents data on Benthic fauna, Food webs and the littoral zone from the Polish Academy of Sciences; Institute of Oceanology, taken between 1981 - 1985 from 60 stations annually investigated during summer.

In 1997 and 1998 soft-bottom fauna of the arctic glacial fjord Kongsfjorden was extensively sampled and major communities were identified along the fjord axis, which were believed to be related to the diminishing influence of the glacial activity. This set of data was collected as part of a PhD programme and was the result of repeated sampling in search for natural or climate driven community changes.

Dataset of meiobenthos in the framework of Manuela.

Data were collected as part of wider coastal management programmes, sponsored by the Norwegian Polar Research Institute. The main purpose of this data collection was to present an ecological inventory of the Svalbard Archipelago and to map the areas of great biological importance.
