This dataset provides a broad perspective and information on taxonomic and morphological (shape and size)structure of phytoplankton communities, along coastal marine area of Salento peninsula (Adriatic and Ionian sea).
-
The dataset contains >6000 occurrence data of terrestrial plants from 5 Eunis species groups (Flowering plants, Conifers, Ferns, Mosses and Liverworts, Fungi). Data refer to alien species and native species distributed within 28 Italian sites and 7 Eunis habitats.
-
Intermediate file of the Crustaceans workflow. It is the validated shapefile created starting from the SIAShapefile.shp.
-
The dataset contains taxonomic and body size data of the benthic macroinvertebrate communities collected in the abandoned mining area of Ingurtosu-Montevecchio (Sardinia, Italy) during the years 1993-1994. Sampling sites were located along two main streams Rio Roia Cani-Piscinas and Rio Naracauli, and outside the mining area. Data refer to 34 taxa and 2033 individuals.
-
The dataset contains taxonomic and morphological data of the macroinvertebrates community of a Nationally designated area in South Italy (Brindisi, Apulia). Data refer to 19504 individuals.
-
The dataset contains taxonomic and body size data of the benthic macroinvertebrate communities collected in the hydrographic basin of Flumini Mannu - Cixerri (Sardinia, Italy) during the years 1992-1993. Sampling sites were located along two main basins Flumini Mannu and Cixerri, and other smaller coastal basins. Data refer to 98 taxa and 14566 individuals.

d13C and d15N values of the Atlantic blue crab Callinectes sapidus from native ranges, including the carbon and nitrogen signatures of animal (bivalves) or vegetal (primary producers including seagrasses and weeds) prey. Data are collated from 48 papers and MSc or PhD theses published between 1987 and 2020, for a total of 90 different locations. The dataset includes the coordinates and name of locations, and taxonomic information on prey. It is the initial input of the Crustaceans workflow, the input of the "Crustaceans WoRMS Taxonomic Checker" service. The only format requirement is that the species names to be checked need to be in the first column with no special character (no “_”…) and there must be an “ID” column numbering the entries (from 1 to the total number of entries in the file) to keep track. The screen reader support is enabled.
-
Final output of the Crustaceans workflow that is the predictive map coming from the Trophic Position Modeler.
-
It is an intermediate file of the Crustaceans workflow that contains the validated SIA file by identifying the native and invasive species.
-
It is an intermediate file of the Crustaceans workflow that contains the trophic position of the invader identified in Step 1 (Crustaceans WoRMS Taxonomic Checker) of the Workflow.
