Study Extent

This digitised historical dataset is part of the bigger floristical and faunistical qualitative survey "The fishery grounds near Alexandria" coordinated by Adolf Steuer. It concerns the area along the coasts of the city of Alexandria in Egypt during the year 1938.

Sampling Description

The sampler for the benthic assemblages was a dredge with a 20*70 cm opening.
