It contains all vegetation inventories of the Slovenian territory since 1932, most of which were compiled according to the standard Central European method (Braun-Blanquet), and covers all vegetation types from macrophytic aquatic communities to forests. The relevés originate from published literature, grey literature (such as dissertations, studies, reports) and partly also from unpublished inventory material. The database is used for the storage of vegetation relevés, classification of vegetation and other analyses of vegetation in Slovenia and neighbouring countries. The inventory material has been geocoded. The database is actively linked to databases in the Balkan countries (Zagreb, Belgrade, Podgorica).
