The dataset regards coastal regions of the Eastern Mediterranean. Verbatim locations are provided in the original publication and coordinates were generated with the use of marineregions.org/gazetteer.
Based on extracts of the original publication "I dredged it in various depths" and "This pretty little Starfish was dredged…" it is concluded that the sampling instrument of the cruise was a dredge.
