7df7ac49-a706-4c1f-9fac-188870bce2ef Zooplankton monitoring in Saltfjorden, Mistfjorden, and Skjerstad Fjord 1983-01-01 This long-term monitoring program, active since 1983, focuses on the biannual sampling of zooplankton communities across three Arctic fjords in Norway : Saltfjorden, Mistfjorden, and Skjerstad Fjord. The objective is to track changes in species composition over time. Sampling is conducted twice a year in the water column, reaching depths of approximately 300 meters. It consists of five replicate vertical hauls using 180 μm mesh zooplankton nets at each site.
