Measurements were carried out within circular plots established within different sections of the sites, representing habitat creation, thinning, and gap, to assess forest structure and composition. A total number of 5067 trees, belonging to six species, were identified and measured (e.g. height, crown width) and tree microhabitats were counted and identified based on the classification reported in Bütler et al., 2020.
