The dataset includes variations of oxygen consumption and Standard Metabolic Rate (SMR) of 54 individuals of S. bottazzii under different temperatures (17°C, 21°C, and 25°C) and salinity levels (2, 4, and 6). Constant Volume Respirometry (CVR) was used to measure oxygen consumption across temperatures and salinity levels. Specimens' biomass and sex information are included in the dataset as such variables can modulate individuals' SMR.
