    <abstract>
      <para>The High Resolution Layer Small Woody Features provides detailed information about the distribution of small woody elements such as hedgerows, tree groups, and individual trees at a pan-European level. It maps these features with high-resolution spatial detail and categorizes them based on their linear or patch-like nature, offering insights into landscape structure and vegetation density. The product is available in high resolution with updates provided on three-year cycle for the 2015 and 2018 reference years. It is well-suited to enhance understanding of landscapes, support biodiversity and carbon sequestration assessments, inform sustainable land management practices, and aid in climate change mitigation strategies. High Resolution Layer Small Woody Features product is part of the European Union’s Copernicus Land Monitoring Service.</para>
