It shows the occurrence of water and wet surfaces over a period of seven years and includes four classes: permanent water, temporary water, permanent wetness, and temporary wetness. The product is provided in high resolution for the 2015 and 2018 reference years. It has a wide range of applications, including supporting policy decisions, aiding in climate change research, hydrological modelling, habitat mapping, and urban planning.
