    <abstract>
      <para>The Copernicus DEM is a Digital Surface Model (DSM) which represents the surface of the Earth including buildings, infrastructure and vegetation. We provide two instances of Copernicus DEM named GLO-30 and GLO-90. GLO-30 offers global coverage at a resolution of 30 metres whereas GLO-90 offers global coverage at a resolution of 90 metres. Both datasets have a surface coverage of ~ 149 M km 2. Note that ocean areas do not have tiles, there one can assume height values equal to zero. Data is provided in GeoTIFF and DTED format.</para>
