Records have been compiled using citizen science observations and social media searches. Citizen science records were gathered through the Facebook group "Monitoraggio cimice asiatica in Sardegna" or from other photographic reports or specimens' collections reported to the involved scientists from CNR-IRET Sassari, Agris Sardegna - Servizio Ricerca nell'Arboricoltura and UNISS-Department of Agriculture. All observations, specimens and photographic records have been validated through taxonomic identification of entomologists belonging to the research group involved.
