Stable isotopes of soil and leaf samples in sites invaded by Ailanthus altissima
This dataset includes 321 georeferenced stable isotope records (carbon 13 and nitrogen 15) of soil and leaf samples collected in areas colonised by the invasive species Ailanthus altissima. Sample collection was carried out in 12 different sampling occasions and in three Italian regions (Sicily, Umbria and Lazio). A total number of 53 sites, characterised by different stages of A. altissima colonisation, were sampled.
