Tunisian Polychaetes by 2022
This dataset was compiled by a. gathering data and taxonomic revision of polychaetes records from published literature, b. adding new species from sampling on the Gulf of Gabes Tidal channels, and c. from the systematic revision of the polychaetes collection deposited at the Institut National des Sciences et Technoligies de la mer (INSTM); which were confused with their congeneric species. The regional distribution of the species is Western and Central Mediterranean.

- Sampling Description
-
Species records were acquired from the literature and from species collected in the tidal channels of the Gulf of Gabès (2016-2017), as well as from the re-examination of some species deposited in the collection of the Tunisian National Institute of Marine Sciences and Technologies. This inventory, reviews the taxonomy, nomenclature, and biogeographic distribution of the Tunisian polychaetes.
