This is the output file of Step 5 (Metabarcoding Occurrence Intersector) and the input file of Step 6 (Update database) of the Metabarcoding workflow. This file classifies taxa detections from sequencing data (not included in NIS checklists from GBIF) as occurring inside or outside their known distribution range. If a taxon is occurring outside its known distribution, this detection could represent a new NIS identified using eDNA metabarcoding.
