This phytoplankton community origins from Cabras Lagoon (Sardinia, Western Mediterranean). Among the total 49 samples, 24 samples were incubated in laboratory at environmental temperature (27°C), and among these, 6 samples included mesozooplankton as apical predators, 6 samples inlcuded only microzooplankton as apical predators. Other 24 samples were incubated in laboratory under warming (32°C), and among these, 6 samples included mesozooplankton as apical predators, 6 samples inlcuded only microzooplankton as apical predators.
