Description

Sampling was done by towing a Lofoten bottom trawl for 30-minutes at a speed of 3 knots.

The Lofoten bottom trawl has following characteristics:

Headrope/Footrope = 31.20 m/17.70 m;

Rockhopper with 27 rollers of 35 cm;

Cod-end mesh size of 35 mm;

Horizontal opening 19.93 (between bridles) ;

vertical opening 3 m.

A beam trawl net was towed for 25-minutes at a towing speed of 2 knots.

The beam trawl has following characteristics:

4m beam trawl (measured between inside edges of shoes);

vertical opening 0.6 m;

cod-end mesh size of 25 mm.

A Rock dredge was towed for 15-minutes trawl at a towing speed of 2 knots.

The rock dredge has following characteristics:

80 x 30 cm opening;

cod-end mesh size of 20 mm.
