Incidence of alien species in Italian habitats and ecosystems

This R code is used for data integration, data cleaning and data analyses of biodiversity datasets with native and alien species records. The analyses include the integration of five datasets with georeferenced records in different ecosystems (marine, transitional, freshwater and terrestrial). After data integration, the script runs a data cleaning process including a taxonomic check and a check of the species's alien status. The analytical part of the script includes the calculation and visualisation of species abundance and an assessment of the incidence of alien species across different EUNIS habitats and ecosystems.
